가장 밥 딜런스러운 노래가 뭘까 고민할 때마다 그 결론은
포크(folk)가 아닌 가스펠(gospel)이라고 느껴졌다.
풍성한 코러스와 따뜻한 타악기,
왠지 마음 한구석에 안도감을 불어넣는 오르간,
그 위에 마치 피를 토할 것 같이 신경질적으로
광기 오른 난해한 설교 말씀을 펼쳐놓는 딜런의 보컬은
단 서너 줄 정도의 가사만으로도
평소에 무심했던 찌꺼기 같은 사실에
고개를 끄덕이게 만드는 묘미가 있다.
1960년대 맨하탄을 배경으로 전쟁같은 하루하루를 살아가는 광고기획사의
이야기는 의외의 볼거리를 많이 가지는데 그 중 하나는 주인공 Don Draper의
광고 PT라 하겠다.
에피소드 중 코닥사의 슬라이드 프로젝터 광고를 프리젠테이션하는 장면이야말로
'쑈킹' 그 자체인데 홈페이지에 올려져 있기래 긁어서 발번역을 해봤다.
그나저나 6월에 시즌 4가 시작한다는데.. 어떻게 기다리나.. ㅜㅜ
